day eight - a thank you letter to someone who changed your life.

Dear Mum

I don't think words can say how much I love you and how much you've done to help me become the woman I am today.

Thank you.

  1. Perfectly sweet. I wrote a letter to my mother-in-law, who has just a few short weeks left to live. I shared it with her this weekend. So much joy amidst so much grief.

This is a a wonderful idea -- and I'm glad I did it before it was too late.

P.S. It's lovely to meet you here...and as I scrolled through your recent blog posts, I just want to say I'm so glad you are okay from the earthquake -- how terribly scary! I have never experienced one in person (thankfully!).

  2. Lovely to meet you too, Graceful:)
That's wonderful that you shared your letter before it was too late. I know how you feel. Last year my grandfather died unexpectedly and I had been putting off writing to him for awhile until one day I sat down and made an effort. He got it on time. I'm so glad.

Thanks for your concern about the earthquake. Lots of people are extreamely emotionally disturbed by the everything that's been happening. I can honestly say I don't know how I would cope without God. He makes all the difference!
